Eaglemont Ladies Golf Association
All ladies of any golfing ability are welcome! We hope you chose to join the 2010 Eaglemont Ladies Golf Association (ELGA). No matter what your level of play, we encourage you to establish a handicap this year! The pro shop has some terrific season membership specials that include this service, plus free rounds of golf and discounts each time you play at Eaglemont. We are each ultimately playing to better our own game and it is fun to watch the progression as we whittle away at our scores. The Eclectic (Ecci) board is another fun way to do this, so be sure to get started early in the season with this fun contest.
There are two Tuesday divisions: The 18-hole group begins play at 12 noon, with handicapped contests each week. The 9-hole ladies begin at 1 PM with one contest per month and low putts on all other weeks. The contest entry fee is $1 per nine holes. Prize money allocation will be determined by the pro shop and put on the "books" in the pro shop for merchandise. See contest schedule and rules for more details.
Tee times need to be made by calling the pro shop by noon on Monday prior to play. Tee times will be assigned in the order received. This is a great way to meet new people and make new friends.
We are excited to have Kevin LeDuc as the head pro at Eaglemont. He and his staff will be offering champagne lessons each Thursday from 5 - 6 pm, beginning May 13 through Labor Day. The fee is $5 per person for a group lesson. These lessons will be held at the driving range, unless otherwise posted. This is a great way to improve your game. Feel free to invite guests to the lessons any time.
Our ultimate goal in the Eaglemont Ladies Golf Association is to have fun. Hopefully in doing so, we will make new friends and improve our golf game also!
