Architectural Control Committee (ACC)
The Association encompasses an Architectural Control Committee (ACC) which has the authority to review and act upon all proposals and plans submitted by homeowners and developers. This includes the construction of private roads or driveways, buildings, fences, structures, exterior remodeling or removing of trees on a setback area. The ACC must give written approval before any changes are made.
The ACC’s role is to ensure the overall integrity of Eaglemont and that new building and changes conform to the original development plan. Variances will be considered by the ACC only in the light of covenants and with the impact on a number of factors. By the proper application of rules as defined in the CC&Rs, the ACC will be able to maintain the quality of life at Eaglemont and to protect the value of all homeowners.
The ACC will be particularly sensitive to the environment. Native growth protection areas and sensitive areas as defined by Mount Vernon will be protected except for utilities or as defined by regulation. Trees may not be removed unless they are diseased or hazardous, in which case approval of the ACC is required.
